Resumo:

Prof. Rebay will present a panorama of his contributions on steady state and transient convective heat transfer, including modelisation and experimental researches. A focus will be given on the collaborative work UFRJ-Reims related to the micro-scale heat transfer, the experiments dealing with forced convection on rough micro-tubes and the new setup related to a micro-heat sink for cooling of microcomputers CPU´s with ordinary liquids and nanofluids.

Prof. Mourad Rebay:

Professor of Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, where he has been since 1998. He was co-author of more than 70 papers, and has participated in several International events (chairman of Int. Symp. Convective Heat and Mass Transfer, ICHMT CONV-09). His research activities are concerned with transient convective heat transfer, micro-scale heat transfer, solar energy and thermal and fluid flow measurements. He is leading different research projects for Industry (ONERA, SYNCHROTRON) and matching different French and International Collaborations.
