Global Engineering is an elective discipline offered by Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro - Department of Mechanical Engineering and by Texas A&M University - College of Engineering with the objective to provide a framework for the systematic study of important facets of an international engineering project. Decision making methods will be studied that allow the integration of quantitative and qualitative information. Applications of the framework and decision methods will be taught using real case studies. The main idea is to develop a joint engineering project with UFRJ and TAMU undergraduate students.
